TIP #1 Ask them to white list your email
This is the best TIP and the real way how you can make sure your emails will not go to a SPAM or PROPMOTIONAL folder.
When you send your letters make sure you add PS asking your subscriber to whitelist your emails. You see an example below.
Meaning your first letter in your autoresponder should include this information and call to action (WHITELIST MY EMAILS).

You need to keep your list clean. At least every month or even 2-3 weeks you need to delete from your list inactive people - subscribers who do not open your emails during 30 days period or less.
No need to pay for people - subscribers who do not open your email!
TIP #3 Adding a professional Email Domain is a must
Another tip to help improve your email deliverability and your brand reputation is to make sure you choose a good FROM WHO email address - use email address that is associated with your own domain and brand.

Try not to use free email domains like Gmail or Yahoo - in most cases these emails will go to SPAM folder on autopilot.
